Founded by Robert Del Valle in 1973. From a small scale crew of engineers, ISR has become one of the biggests shipyards in the Gulf of Mexico, with a continuous inflow of both national and international clients seeking the company’s know-how and expertise. The balance of domestic and international clients seeking ISR’s services changed from a 50/50 split in the early 2000s to 40/60 by the start of the 2020s.
As demand from clients for bigger vessels increased, DD#7, DD#8 and DD #9/10 (Panamax Drydock) were purchased to handle bigger projects, so ISR has grown at pace to match the need for greater capacity.
Their shipyard consists of a 5,000 square foot machine shop with a partially covered fabrication area. Their three berthing facilities offer electric, phone and internet service. With several drydocks of varying sizes and capacities, ISR can accommodate a wide variety of vessels and repairs.

INDUSTRIAS ASTIVIK S.A. today, it is considered one of the principal shipyards in the Caribbean. Since 2004 the owner of the shipyard is a USA Corp.
It has an area of 67,384 sq. meters (221,076 sq. feet) and four floating docks (4000 Ton, 2700 Ton, 2100 Ton and 1300 Ton), with a 700 ton dock and a 220 ton capacity dock that has a dockage system and lateral transference allowing them to do simultaneous work to seven vessels on dock. Maximum lifting capacity is 4.000 Tons, and also they have an area covered under roof of 2,155 sq. meters (7,070 sq. feet) to carry out works under roof. They have ISO 9000:2008 quality certification issued by BUREAU VERITAS, their facilities comply with the requirements of ISPS.

INDUSTRIAS ASTIVIK S.A. complies with all procedures for high-risk tasks, specially activities related with hot works, confined spaces, heights, layher type scaffolding, hazardous substances and heavy loads; furthermore, it is mandatory that all personnel involved in processes in the vessel to be HSE certified to carry out activities, with emphasis on Res. 1409/12 OSHA and NFPA.

TANDANOR (an acronym for Talleres Navales Dársena Norte) is an Argentine shipyard located south of Buenos Aires port which together with Almirante Storni yard constitutes CINAR (Argentina’s Industrial and Naval Compound) dedicated to shipbuilding and ship repair. It currently harbors ships from around the globe due to its international renown. Its competitive advantage springs from its Syncrolift: a shiplifting platform that allows vessels to be dry docked and perform simultaneous repairs on its six slipways.
It is a conglomerate that leads the recovery process of Argentina´s naval activity. With over 140 years of experience, CINAR is one of the major players in the region within the areas of repair and construction of ships and barges of various kinds, topsides and all kinds of large ships.
Strategically located in the south basin of Buenos Aires main commercial port; its top level infrastructure, which harbors the largest Syncrolift in Latin America and Alte. Storni´s 55 thousand square meters of covered sheds; together with an internationally reknown and experienced workforce; positions CINAR as the largest naval complex in Argentina. TANDANOR has a strategic location in the port area of the City of Buenos Aires. Chengxi Shipyard (Xinrong) Co.,Ltd. is a joint venture corporation by Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd, HongKong Brilliant Hero Industrial Ltd., as a state-owned holding modern enterprise for ship repair & conversion.She located at Xingang port in Jingjiang city, Jiangsu province, North Latitude is 32°02’43′, East Logitude is 120°24.5′. The company has an advantage in road and water way transportation as it is adjacent to the port cities like Shanghai, Ningbo, Nantong and Zhangjiagang.
There are more than 240 engineers and technicians in company,and covers an area of 230,000 square meters. There are two floating docks with deadweight capacity of 170,000 tons and 100,000 tons. DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. is a large state-owned enterprise that belongs to the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC). The shipyard has three dry docks, sized 170x28x9.1 m for Handymax, 240x39x11.4 m for Panamax, 340x64x12.8 m for VLCC, and ten wharfs with a total length of 2,018 m, four harbor tugs, and workshops for steel processing, piping, painting, numerical-controlled cutting machine, steel pre-treatment line, plate straighting and 200 tons gantry crane etc. There are 900 highly skilled, experienced engineers and architects.
